Situated at the corner of Chrystie and Grand St, adjacent to Sara D. Roosevelt Park, the library simulates the experience of walking through the park.
Unrolled Section & Plans
Sectional plans are extracted from the park based on rules of boundaries and vectors; then transformed into occupiable spaces according to programmatic needs. The library space consists of a series of continuous ramps, where program and circulation blend together.
